ABOUT THE PROJECT
When so-called Scandinavian “snow shoes” were introduced to the Alps by the first ski pioneers in the late 19th century, no-one could have possibly imagined the incredible changes that winter sports would bring to this area. This historical development is at the centre of a project promoted by the EU-Interreg-Programme, and carried out by seven museums, archives and societies in Vorarlberg and the Allgäu.

Naturally, the museums participating in the Interreg project can also be visited personally, and you can be sure of a warm welcome.
